Founder & Speech Language Pathologist

Alyssa Kung-Gunion, M.S., CCC-SLP

Alyssa founded Tiny Babbles Speech Therapy because she believed families deserved better; better access, better communication, and a practice that treats every child as brilliantly wired, not broken. What started as a solo practice has grown into a team of passionate SLPs who share her neurodiversity-affirming philosophy.

Alyssa is a lifelong learner who brings energy, creativity, and heart to every session. She's presented lectures on apraxia alongside colleagues for CSU graduate courses, provided consultation for school-based SLPs, participated quarterly meetings for the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force with Apraxia Kids, and was a Board Member for the University of the Pacific SLP Alumni Association. When she isn't researching the latest in speech and language, she's exploring outside with her husband, two kids, Owen & Olive, and her rescue dog, Kygo.

Tiny Babbles is rooted in Alyssa's family legacy. In the Philippines, her grandfathers would travel to the mountains to serve and care for their community as their town’s compassionate physicians. Their priority was the wellness of the people and spreading their light. Tiny Babbles carries that same mission forward.
